The first step in setting up a website is to register your domain name and sign-up with a hosting site for the website to be published to. We recommend DreamHost (www.dreamhost.com). They have a hosting program which includes a free domain name ($10 or more at other hosting sites) for only $5.95 per month if you pay 10 years in advance or $10.95 monthly, $9.95/mo for 1 year, $8.95/mo for 2 years, $7.95/mo for 3 years, $6.95/mo for 5 years. There is a $49.95 set-up fee if you elect to pay monthly.
Once that is taken care of, you are ready to have your site designed. If you are planning on doing e-commerce you will need to find another company to design your site. Our sites are designed with Microsoft FrontPage2003® which does a great site but is not recommended for e-commerce.
Design services are available at $50/hour. A basic site can be designed in about 3 hours if all the photos and graphics are supplied and ready. FIRST CLICK! can also update your site as needed for $25/hour.
